What this site is
This site describes advisory services and provides a way to get in touch. Everything on it is general information about how I work. It is not advice about your business, your transaction, or your portfolio company.
No advisory relationship
Reading this site, submitting the contact form, or exchanging initial emails does not create a client or advisory relationship. That relationship begins only when both parties sign a written engagement agreement setting out scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees. Until then, nothing here should be relied on as advice specific to your situation.
No investment advice
Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation regarding any security or transaction, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell anything. Elxis is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer.
Accuracy
I keep this site current, but I make no warranty that its content is complete, accurate, or up to date. Descriptions of past experience are summaries and are not commitments about future results.
Your submissions
Don’t send confidential or proprietary information through the contact form. Use it to start a conversation; we can put an NDA in place before you share anything sensitive. You represent that you’re authorized to send whatever you do submit and that it doesn’t violate anyone else’s rights.

The content, design, and materials on this site are owned by Elxis and protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and share the site. You may not reproduce, republish, or use its content commercially without written permission.

The site may link to sites I don’t control. I’m not responsible for their content or practices.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elxis is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site. Total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and it does not govern liability under a signed engagement agreement, which has its own terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute relating to the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
Changes
I may revise these terms. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised version.
